Jonathan Larsen, President
President of Titan Frozen Foods, Jon brings over 30 years’ experience of fruit and vegetable processing including an extensive background in sales and processing operations from the northwest to the central coast of California. In addition, Jon was one of the initial partners in a previous strawberry ingredient company where he helped grow the company to sales exceeding $60 million in less than 5 years.
Eric Duyck, VP of Operations
Eric offers 28 years of extensive experience and knowledge in operations management in the food processing industry, focusing mainly on strawberries. Eric’s responsibilities have included establishing the Capital /RM Budget, developing the company Injury & Illness Prevention Plan and establishing all required Occupational Health & Safety training courses.
Quinn Johnson, VP of Sales
Quinn’s previous 25 years’ experience has been in domestic and international sales in both the retail and ingredient markets. With his previous company, he opened a second office on the west coast and was partially responsible for a significant increase in that company’s total revenue. This was all done with a small sales staff of three employees including himself.
Al Souza, Director of Operations
Al’s extensive experience in the knowledge & operations of ingredient formulation and processing dates well over 45 years. He began his career in a family owned dairy business and migrated to the food processing industry working seasonally in the local canneries while attending college. With a high level of interest in the process of concentrating fruits and vegetables, he spent the next two thirds of his life either building, developing new procedures, or running pasteurization and concentrate lines.
Andy Nunez, Quality Assurance Manager
Andy’s knowledge and experience of 15 years in the food industry include Quality Assurance Supervisor and more recently Quality Assurance Manager at a strawberry ingredient processor. Andy is HACCP certified, has participated in numerous audits, with full training in GMP’s, Food Safety, and USDA Grading. In addition, he played a large role in assisting with Regulatory & Third Party Inspections, FDA, California Health and Human Services, Food and Drug Branch, BRC Audits and all customer audits.
Brenda Tsuda, Director of In House Sales & Service
Brenda’s 33 years’ experience in the frozen food industry ranges from administrative management for two national cold storage companies, logistics, account management, and sales to most recently the customer service manager for the last ten years in the strawberry processing industry. Four of her 33 years were spent on a national task force developing and implementing ‘best practices’ for a Continuous Improvement Program.
Dick Branch, Director of Field Operations
Dick has been in the ‘agriculture industry’ for over 30 years with the last 20 exclusively in the strawberry processing business. He has developed grower relations, cooler negotiations and trained six new field men for various strawberry processors within California & Baja. Dick is serving his 18th year as a PSAB board member and previously served on the Strawberry commission board for five years.
Nilo Diaz, Sanitation Manager
Nilo brings a wealth of knowledge and more than 20 years’ experience to the Titan team as Sanitation Manager. Nilo is responsible for assuring the effectiveness of our sanitation process to ensure production of a safe product. Creating and coordinating all accountable activities including equipment ATP testing, data interpretation and corrective action when necessary.
Sue Rice, Controller – Office Manager
Sue comes to Titan with over 20 years in the agriculture industry with a background in accounting and finance; the majority of this experience involved strawberries. Her roles as Assistant Controllers and Controller will help ensure the success of Titan. Sue’s professionalism and positive management style play an integral role in the Controller and Office Manager positions.
Tommie Gause III, CI/Process Engineer
Tommie has joined Titan Frozen Fruit as a Continuous Improvement Engineer. He has more than 7 years’ experience in process/production improvement. He will be responsible to perform evaluations and analysis of process related issues, determine and implement corrective actions, assist production and packaging with ongoing daily support, and develop and implement best practices. Tommie earned his Engineer degree from Arkansas State University.
